Variety at the farm

We cultivate our farm in various ways.

These are the animals we have: cows, horses, goats, sheep, chicken, rabbits, two cats and our watchdog Max.

Apricots, ancient apple species, rare nut trees, pears, cherries and plums grow and prosper in our fruit meadows.

Since spring 2011 we have grown white and red vines as well as raspberries, black currant and strawberries, which round up our offer of fruits.

The farm’s herb and vegetable garden

Depending on the season all sorts of vegetables grow in our vegetable garden: salads, onions, leek, carrots, courgettes, spinach, tomatoes, different pumpkins, cauliflower, white cabbage, kohlrabi, red radish and potatoes.

In the herb garden we plant the following herbs and blossoms: chives, parsley, celery, meadows arnica, savory, sage, stinging nettles, clover, dill, mallow, tarragon, lady’s mantle, gold balm, St. John’s wort, camomile, mullein, coriander, lavender, lovage, marjoram, mallow, milk thistle, pineapple sage, clary, evening primerose, orange mint, oregano, peppermint, salad burnet, marigold, rosemary, sage, sea buckthorn, ribwort, thyme, balm, hyssop
